Display

The beautiful colors and textures of stained glass are striking in daylight,  but can also be appreciated in bright indoor light.

Many people display their stained glass piece in a window.  One option is to position it on the horizontal top frame of the lower pane of a window, leaning the top of the piece against the window pane.  To secure it, a small piece of Fun-tak can be applied between the back of the stained glass panel and the window.

Another option is to display the piece using a plate stand or a small tabletop easel.  I have 6" black metal stands available for $5 each.  Please let me know if you would like to include a stand with your glass purchase.

I sometimes get asked about adding hanging hooks.  This can be done if the design of the piece permits embedding hooks into two solder lines on the upper edge of the panel.

Try to handle your stained glass panel as little as possible.  The "Caring for glass" page has cleaning tips.
